Announcing the registration of Optometrist Dr. Adebo O.D. to practice in Antigua-Barbuda

Dr Onohomo Adebo, O.D.We are delighted that Dr Onohomo Adebo, has received her instruments of registration, to practice in Antigua and Barbuda.

A graduate of Benin University, she is an Optometry Doctor. Dr. Adebo brings a wealth of experience, having practiced in Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates.

The Caribbean Council for the Blind wishes to extend deep gratitude and appreciation to: The Immigration Authorities, The Ministry of Labour, The Medical Board, The Ministry of Health and the Registrar of the High Court; for working with us to achieve her recruitment and registration to practice in Antigua and Barbuda.

Dr. Adebo, will provide clinical guidance and consultation to the Refractionists working in the Vision Centres.

We are continuing our effort to secure the services of additional Optometrists to support this very important eye health initiative. To that end, we hope to nominate a 2nd Optometry candidate, for registration by June of this year.

With the registration of Dr. Adebo, we are preparing to support the resumption of full service in the vision centres as follows:
May 5th – Clare Hall
May 6th – Grays Farm
May 7th – Johnsons Point
