Cricket for the Blind - 6th Regional Championships

The 6th Regional Championships of Cricket for the Blind were held in Jamaica from July 15th to 21st, 2011. 

 

In the final match held at the Melbourne Cricket Oval, Trinidad and Tobago defeated Jamaica in Twenty/20 Finals. Trinidad and Tobago scored 188 for the loss of 2 wickets off 20 overs. The top scorer was Poyah Jenson with the score of 68 not out.

Jamaica was penalized by 10 runs, for a slow over rate, which required them to chase 199 for victory. In the end, they only managed 189 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Trinidad and Tobago, for the very first time, won the Phillip Herald Trophy.
